Elegant Japanese Shaped Trestle

This Juniper Bookmatched Desk desk is truly a unique piece and built-in an equally unique way.

Made from Juniper lumber rarely seen in these dimensions, 57″ L x  34″ W at its widest point.
The desktop is identically bookmatched as well as one of the legs.
Beautiful wood grain is strategically placed throughout the desk.
The legs are attached to the desktop using sliding dovetail joinery.
The trestle is fashioned in a style of Japanese influence to finish off the joinery of the desk.
With only hardware for the soft-touch drawer and a couple of screws for extra support in the braces,
Jeremy sticks to the motto of keeping his style as close to nature as possible.
Jeremy’s design on this desk is bold, unique, minimalist, and elegant.

Jeremy does not cut down trees that are still alive or should not be removed from nature. This tree in particular grew into 3 sections as a mature tree and the stump is quite evidently showing 2 of those sections from the roots up. Jeremy was able to re-enforce this piece in its original form to capture just how beautiful it is naturally whether you prefer roots up or down, this coffee table offers beauty and nature for a unique piece of art no matter how you choose to display it.
